Excellent product as this is my second purchase since I broke the orginal pot and had to replace the entire coffee maker just to get the pot. But I would do it over again with the same brand and model.

I see I’m alone in this, but I quite enjoy my Briel Spacesaver. Never had any problems with it. I know it is not completely metal. For the price it looks high end. To get all metal I would paid over ,000.00. I can always depend on my machine when I make coffee for friends and my daughter enjoys making espresso. She is a barista in Dean and Deluca in NYC and she says it works like the commerical machines at work. So I can’t complain. I am very satisfied.

Searched for a Thermal Carafe coffee maker under 0 for quiet some time. Always seem to break glass carafe’s and Brewstations always leak after a while. Saw this coffee maker online at a GREAT price ane jumped on it, and I’m actually really quiet pleased with it!

Makes great coffee, keeps coffee warm for a long time, auto-programable what more do you need.

I did knock off a star for a couple reasons. First off it is NOT a 10 cup coffee maker, yes the description says 10 cup and yes the coffee maker it self says 8 small cups / 12 large cups on the side. However, it does not hold one drop more coffee than my old Black & Decker 8 cup. Secondly the clock only displays military time, not a big deal but I would prefer a 12 hour clock. Would have given 5 stars if it came with a reusable mesh filter though.

A couple notes for anyone thinking about buying this coffee maker. When you first get it, it smells strongly like plastic. I ran a pot of soapy water through it, and several pots of hot water through it until the odor was gone and the coffee has no bad odor or taste (it even says to do this in the manual) be sure to do this yourself before you use it, I believe this is why some reviews complain of a bad taste. Also be aware the manual says NO PART of the coffee maker is dishwasher safe, you are supposed to handwash all pieces.
